Information for Tenby
Tenby South Beach (Direct access from the park)
The South beach stretches for a mile and runs from St Catherines to Giltar point, offering the most amazing views of Caldy Island. Sand dunes run the entire length of the beach and at low tide it joins up with Castle beach. The beach also runs alongsideTenby championship golf course. Like Tenby North, this is an incredibly popular beach with lots of activities to keep the children busy including a bouncy castle and trampolines. The beach is patrolled by a Lifeguard (10am-6pm) during the summer season and boat trips to Caldey Island run from the beach at low tide.
Tenby North Beach
The North beach at Tenby is a long sandy beach set against a backdrop of cliffs on one side and Tenby town and the picturesque harbour on the other. It is one of Tenby's most popular beaches, dominated by Goscar rock and the impressive 13th century wall that surrounds the victorian town of Tenby. This bustling resort is a 'must see' along Pembrokeshire's dramatic coastline, offering excellent watersports and a good variety of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from.
Tenby Castle Beach
The ancient ruins of Tenby Castle lie above a picturesque sandy cove situated between Castle Hill and the East Cliff. At low tides it is possible to walk out to St. Catherine's Island, but take care that the tide does not cut you off! The vibrant town of Tenby is only a short stroll away, but the beach has a good range of facilities including it's own café, toilets and deck chair rental.
